Jo in the Water - 2025 preview
One woman’s fight to save our seas, a feature documentary in the making. “The sea is an amenity that is available to all of us and every single one of us has the right to swim in that sea as often as we like. I’ve had that choice taken away from me.” - Jo Bateman.
The film will follow Jo’s journey as she pursues her legal action and connects with others both local and national, fighting the same cause.
Bognor Fishing - Back from the Brink
Fisherman Clive Mills wants to bring back the town's fishing traditions. He stopped fishing in 1999 because of the decline in catch. Now, he is back to rebuild the fishing community. He is working with other fishers and local supporters. They want to turn part of the Bognor Regis promenade into a place where people can learn about fishing history. This project aims to bring back fish and the fishing community in Bognor Regis and inspire similar conservation efforts.
Miles to Go
In 2022 alone there were over 300 anti-LGBTQ+ bills proposed in various states across the USA. Refusing to sit idly by, trans trail runner Perry Cohen (he/him) formed a team of fellow runners to compete in races in states proposing and passing hateful legislation, a journey into the world of trail running and the freedom to be themselves on the trail.

Thrawn - A Stubbornly Scottish Snow Film
In the Scottish Highlands, the word “thrawn” means “stubborn,” but in a good way. It’s a virtuous struggle to make the most of what’s available. Professional snowboarder Lesley McKenna was raised on thrawn, and she has spent her life pushing the boundaries of her sport while advocating for the people and the place that shaped her.
Includes a live Q&A with filmmakers Hannah Bailey and Lesley Mckenna, after the screening.
The Last Ski Maker in Scotland
The uncertain future of skiing in Scotland has inspired Jamie Kunka to make sustainable skis out of wood. Based in his cabin in the Scottish Highlands, Jamie is the last ski maker in Scotland.

LIBERTAD - PREMIERE! 🎬
"Libertad" follows Adrián, a boy with limited opportunities from the northern Peruvian town of Cerrito de la Virgen. His relationship with the ocean is constantly evolving, and this film serves as an example of how surfing can transform lives.
Seb, A Surf Therapy Journey
Seb, a Surf Therapy Journey is a heartwarming short documentary about a charismatic 12-year-old with ADHD and autism who embarks on a six-week surf therapy course. Ride the waves of Seb’s infectious personality as we follow him on his journey of self-discovery, aided by the unwavering support of his loving mother Naomi.
WEEKLONG
A transformative journey of foster and underserved young adults as they embark on an ambitious mission to summit one of Southern California's most grueling peaks – San Gorgonio. This deeply human story explores each participant's inner and outer experiences during their first weeklong backpacking trip at the end of a 7-month program led by the San Diego-based nonprofit Foster the Earth. This short and sweet film explores inequities in the outdoors, the barriers we must push past to achieve our goals, and the common footing we find on the trail.
